Marinated Zucchini - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 zucchini
    safflower oil
    garlic
    sage
    vinegar
    1 hot pepper
    wine (optional)
Preparation
    Slice the zucchini lengthwise into thick slices.
    Fry the zucchini slices in a heavy skillet to brown them.
    Drain them on a paper towel.
    Layer garlic, sage and zucchini in a large jar.
    Add 2 tablespoons of warm oil to the jar.
    Add vinegar or half parts wine and vinegar to almost fill the jar.
    Add the hot pepper. Refrigerate overnight.
