Polynesian Ginger Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. mayonnaise, chilled
    1 c. dairy sour cream
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1/4 c. minced parsley
    1/4 c. finely chopped water chestnuts
    1 Tbsp. finely chopped candied ginger
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Combine mayonnaise and sour cream.
    Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Trim top with additional candied ginger bits.
