Sugar Drop Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 stick soft margarine
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar together until fluffy.
Beat in egg. Sift dry ingredients together; add alternately with milk to sugar mixture, blend thoroughly.
Add vanilla.
Drop by teaspoons onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.
For a sugary top, lightly flatten each cookie with bottom of glass which has been buttered and then dipped into the sugar.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Remove from cookie sheet while hot.
Yields about 4 dozen.
