Poppy Seed Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter (no substitute)
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 (2 oz.) box poppy seed
    3 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    4 eggs
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff; set aside.
    Blend egg yolks, butter and sugar.
    Add remaining ingredients and blend well.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Bake in a greased and floured Bundt pan at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes or until done.
