Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. butter
1-1/2 c. boiling water
juice and rind of one lemon
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients and water. Cook 5 minutes. Add lemon and butter, few drops of yellow food coloring if desired. Put sauce in 2 qt. baking dish.
