My Mother'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter (real butter is best)
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time (this is very important to lightness).
    Add flour, salt and vanilla.
    Beat at low speed until well mixed.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour in tube pan.
