Vinegar Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1 3/4 c. shortening
    1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    1 egg
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar and salt.
    Cut in shortening until mixture is crumbly. Combine water, vinegar and egg. Beat well with fork. Add shortening. Stir well.
    Chill 2 hours before using.
    Makes enough for a large cobbler.
