Southern Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cubes butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
5 eggs
3/4 c. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract
pinch of salt
Preparation

Cream butter, shortening and sugar until fluffy.
Slowly add flour, salt, milk and flavorings with mixer on low.
Turn mixer to medium; add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
