Hard Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. white syrup
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Cook to 300\u00b0 with candy thermometer.
    Remove from heat; add flavoring (the more flavoring, the better the taste).
    Pour on buttered cookie sheet; let cool.
    Cut with scissors or break into pieces.
    Coat with powdered sugar.
