Ingredients

2 egg whites (room temperature)
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips or butterscotch chips
1 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
Preparation

While making cookies, preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Beat egg whites until stiff. Continue to beat while gradually adding sugar and add vanilla. Fold in chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto foil covered cookie sheets.
Put in oven and turn oven off.
Leave 8 to 10 hours. Do not open oven door during this time.
