Strawberry-Pineapple Marmalade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. finely chopped fresh pineapple (about 1 medium)
    1 tsp. grated orange rind
    2 1/2 c. chopped orange pulp (about 4 medium oranges)
    7 c. sugar
    1 1/2 qt. strawberries
Preparation
    Combine pineapple, orange rind, pulp and sugar in a large saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture boils and sugar dissolves; boil 15 minutes. Add strawberries and boil until thick, about 20 to 30 minutes, stirring frequently. Pour quickly into sterilized jars. Cover at once with metal lids and screw bands tight. Process jars in boiling water bath for 10 minutes. Yield: 3 pints.
