Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 3/4 c. sugar, sifted
    2 c. sifted cake flour
    5 large eggs
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar well.
    Add one egg at a time.
    Beat well after each egg.
    Add lemon juice and almond extract.
    Sift in (fold in) flour.
    Bake in paper lined stem pan at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
