Brownstone Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk

Preparation

Mix all ingredients and let stand for 1 hour.
Cook over medium heat until mixture boils and forms a soft ball in cold water (15 to 20 minutes).
Mix with mixer until just firm enough to spread.
