Quick Deep Dish Chicken Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans cream of chicken soup
    2 c. cooked chicken, cut up
    1/2 c. milk or cream
    2 c. cut up potatoes, partly cooked
    1 c. cut up onions
    1 c. cut up green pepper (optional)
    1/8 tsp. white pepper
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. sweet basil
    1 pkg. refrigerator buttermilk biscuits
Preparation
    In saucepan, combine soup and the milk or cream.
    Stir in chicken, potatoes, onions, pepper and seasonings.
    Heat until sauce begins to simmer, stirring occasionally.
    Empty into a 2-quart casserole or baking dish.
    Top with biscuits.
    Bake in preheated 400\u00b0 oven for 15 or 20 minutes or until biscuits are brown.
