Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 bananas
1/4 tsp. soda
2 c. flour
1/3 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients and sift.
Working sugar in, cream shortening until airy light.
Break eggs separately into shortening.
Beat thoroughly each time.
Mash bananas with potato masher and stir into shortening.
Add vanilla.
Add flour mixture in several parts beating after each addition.
Empty into 8 x 4-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
Slice when cool.
