48 Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    11 or 12 c. flour
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    4 c. lukewarm water
    1 c. sugar
    1 cake yeast or 1 1/2 pkg. dry yeast
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Add salt, shortening and sugar. Add 1 cup flour.
    Mix well, add rest of flour gradually.
    Knead well, let raise 1 hour and work down.
    Let raise 1 hour more. Pinch off top; form buns and place on greased pans.
    Cover and let raise 2 hours.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
