Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. orange juice
1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 well beaten egg
1 1/2 c. cranberries, coarsely chopped
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Mix flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda and salt together. Add remaining ingredients, except cranberries and nuts.
Mix well until blended.
Stir in cranberries and nuts.
Pour into greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool on rack 5 minutes; remove from pan.
