Meat Loaf Italiano - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 lb. lean ground pork
    1 pkg. (approximately 70 g) mushroom soup mix (dry)
    1/2 c. bread crumbs, fine dry
    1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
    1 egg
    1 (7 1/2 oz.) can pizza sauce, divided
    4 oz. Canadian Mozzarella, Fontina or Provolone cheese
Preparation
    Combine beef, pork, soup mix, bread crumbs, onion, egg and 1/2 of pizza sauce; mix well.
    Press in 9-inch skillet with heat resistant handle or 9-inch pie plate.
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until done.
    Drain off fat.
    Spread remaining pizza sauce over meat.
    Arrange cheese on top.
    Bake 5 minutes longer. Cut into wedges; serve with vegetables.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
