"Chicken Julie" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 frying chickens, cut (unfloured)
    4 or 5 medium onions, chopped
    1 can beef bouillon
    1 c. water
    2 or 3 bay leaves
    1/4 c. dry sherry
    4 cloves garlic
    1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    1 chicken bouillon cube
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/2 c. diced ripe olives (black)
    Crisco
Preparation
    Brown chicken in Crisco. Saute garlic and onions. Add flour and brown lightly. Add bouillon, water, thyme and bay leaves. Combine all and cook slowly 1 hour or more. Near end of cooking, add olives and sherry.
