Sarma (Cabbage Rolls) With Sauerkraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large, chopped onion
    1 c. white rice
    2 large eggs, beaten slightly in cup
    3 lb. lean ground beef or 1 lb. ground turkey, 1 lb. lean ground pork and 1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 head green cabbage
    2 (2 lb.) pkg. sauerkraut (in plastic bag)
    2 c. water
    1 lb. smoked meat of your choice (ham or kolbassi)
Preparation
    In a large pan of boiling water, place cabbage with core removed; shut off heat.
    Remove cabbage leaves in 10 minutes and drain.
