Ingredients

5 qt. beets, diced
3 c. vinegar
4 c. sugar
2 c. water (that beets were cooked in)
1 Tbsp. salt
2 Tbsp. pickling spices, wrapped in clean, white cloth
Preparation

Add all ingredients except beets.
Bring to a hard boil.
Add beets.
Boil hard 5 minutes.
Fill hot jars and seal.
