Lorse'S Ham Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 1/2 inch ham hocks
    4 to 5 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes, mashed
    1 c. rice
    1 pinch sugar
Preparation
    Boil ham hocks in water until tender.
    Make sure there is 3 to 3 1/2 cups juice left, if not, add water.
    Bring juice to a boil. Put in rice.
    Cook 20 minutes on medium heat.
    Add tomatoes.
    Cook 5 to 7 minutes or until blended well.
