Fried Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 lb.) chicken, cut into 8 to 10 pieces
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Season with salt and pepper; toss chicken in flour.
Let dry for 10 minutes.
Pour milk into a shallow bowl and dip chicken in milk, then coat
the chicken again in flour (save the rest for the gravy).
Fill the skillet with shortening; brown chicken on both sides.
