Sweet Corn Pone - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. corn meal
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 egg
1 pt. sour milk
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil

Preparation

Mix all ingredients.
Bake in a heavy baking dish which has been greased and coated with corn meal.
Bake for 1 hour in a 400\u00b0 oven.
