Ingredients

1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 1/4 c. packed light brown sugar
3/4 c. light corn syrup
3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 (5.33 oz.) can evaporated milk
Preparation

Spread pecans on a baking sheet.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Set aside.
Melt butter in medium saucepan.
Add sugar, corn syrup and flour, stirring well.
Bring to boil.
Reduce heat and simmer, stirring constantly, 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool to lukewarm.
Gradually stir in milk and pecans.
Serve warm over ice cream.
Yields 3 cups.
