Hilda'S Sweetbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. milk, scalded
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter
    6 eggs, well beaten
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    4 pkg. dry yeast
    14 c. flour
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water; set aside.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs and the rest of the ingredients, except milk. Add as needed.
    Knead until dough is spongy.
    Cover and set in warm place to rise until double.
    Roll out in loaves or round ones.
    Let rise again until double and bake in a 325\u00b0 oven until done (about 30 to 45 minutes).
