Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. plain flour
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 pkg. yeast
    1 tsp. soda
    1 pt. sweet milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
    Set aside.
    Bring milk, sugar and Crisco to boiling point.
    Let this mixture cool to lukewarm.
    Mix flour, salt, baking powder and soda.
    Add the yeast to the milk mixture after it has cooled to lukewarm.
    Mix in the flour.
    Knead all the mixed ingredients in flour, enough to make a workable dough.
    Let rise in large pan for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
