Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    3 c. White Lily flour (plain)
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream Crisco and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Sift together flour and soda; add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk.
    Add vanilla; beat well.
