Beefy Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 qt. water
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped carrot
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes (undrained), chopped
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce with tomato bits
    1 1/2 Tbsp. beef flavored bouillon granules
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Brown ground beef in large Dutch oven, stirring to crumble. Drain well and set aside.
    Melt butter in same Dutch oven.
    Add flour; cook over low heat for 3 to 5 minutes, or until smooth paste forms.
    Gradually add water, stirring constantly.
    Cook over medium heat until bubbly, stirring occasionally.
    Add ground beef and remaining ingredients.
    Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 1 hour.
    Yields 13 cups.
