Oyster Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. oysters
    1 qt. milk
    1/4 lb. butter
    1 Tbsp. salt
    black pepper
    6 drops Tabasco sauce
Preparation
    Remove any pieces of shell from oysters but do not wash.
    Melt butter in saucepan; drop oyster in and cook until oysters begin to curl at the edges.
    Add salt, pepper and Tabasco sauce.
    Scald milk and combine with the oysters.
    Serve immediately.
    Serves 6.
