Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. chopped dates
1/2 c. black walnuts or pecans
3 c. Rice Krispies
powdered sugar
Preparation

Melt butter in skillet.
Beat eggs.
Add sugar and beat.
Add dates and put all in skillet with butter.
Cook 8 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from fire.
Add black walnuts and Rice Krispies.
Let cool a little. Work together with greased hands.
Make into a roll, then roll in powdered sugar.
Wrap in wax paper and chill.
Slice as needed.
(Better double the recipe as they are sooooo good.)
