Ingredients

3 c. milk
4 1/2 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. coconut
Preparation

Scald 2 cups milk.
Combine flour, cornstarch, sugar, salt and egg yolks and 1 cup milk.
Mix and add to scalded milk.
Cook over low heat until thick.
Remove from heat and add vanilla and coconut.
Put into baked pie shell.
Top with meringue.
Sprinkle coconut on top.
Bake until brown.
