Half Moon Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sour milk
Preparation
    Measure and sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
    Work with spoon until soft the shortening and sugar.
    Beat until light and fluffy.
    Then add the eggs and vanilla.
    Beat until well blended.
    Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with cup of sour milk.
    Mix well.
    Drop by tablespoon on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Bake in a moderate 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
