Chocolate Intrigue Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 stick butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. chocolate syrup
1/4 tsp. soda
Preparation

Combine the flour, salt and baking powder.
Cream together the butter and sugar.
Add the eggs, one at a time.
Add the milk and vanilla.
Add the dry ingredients.
Pour 2/3 of the batter in a 10-inch tube pan.
Grease and flour bottom.
Add to remaining batter the chocolate syrup and soda.
Pour over white batter.
Do not mix.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
