Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk plus 1 tsp. vinegar
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Cream together first 5 ingredients. Sift rest of the ingredients together and add alternately to cream mixture.
    Turn into greased and floured 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
