Aunt Cele'S Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients
- 
                            1/2 c. cornmeal (yellow, self-rising)
 
1/4 c. flour (self-rising)
1 egg
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. milk (more or less)
small amount bacon grease
Preparation
- 
                            Mix ingredients together (except bacon grease).
 
Melt bacon grease in iron skillet; now add some to bread mixture and bake at 500\u00b0 for about 15 minutes or until brown.
