Spicy Corn Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1 (16 oz.) can creamed corn
    1 c. corn meal
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1/4 c. jalapeno peppers, chopped
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and pour into 3-quart casserole.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    It should have a \"set\" consistency.
    May be prepared ahead and bake just before serving.
    Serves 10.
