Raisin Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. raisins
    1 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    Cook raisins in water until water is nearly absorbed.
    Cool. Add baking soda.
    Cream sugar and shortening and add to raisins. Add eggs and dry ingredients which have been sifted together. Drop by greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes. Makes 75 cookies.
