Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco shortening
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. flour (all-purpose)
    3 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream sugar, shortening and eggs.
    Mix flour, salt and soda. Add to mixture alternately with buttermilk.
    Pour into greased tube pan and bake at 400\u00b0 (gas oven) or at 375\u00b0 (electric oven) about 1 hour or more.
