Banana Split Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. graham cracker crumbs
    1 stick margarine, melted
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 box powdered sugar, sifted
    4 or 5 bananas
    1 tub Cool Whip
    1 (4 oz.) jar cherries, chopped
    1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1 small can chocolate syrup (optional)
Preparation
    Mix together cracker crumbs and melted margarine.
    Press in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla; spread over crumbs.
    Slice bananas lengthwise and lay on cream cheese mixture.
    Spread pineapple on top.
    Spread Cool Whip next and sprinkle with cherries and pecans.
    Pour chocolate syrup sparingly over top, if desired.
    Chill thoroughly.
    Best if it sets overnight.
