Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 c. sliced celery
    2 c. sliced mushrooms (optional)
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/4 c. chicken broth
    1 c. milk
    1 pkg. frozen peas, thawed
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. water
    1 c. sliced carrots
    3 c. chopped chicken
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Melt butter.
    Add onions and celery; cook until soft.
    Add mushrooms; cook 3 minutes.
    Stir in flour; cook 1 minute.
    Stir in chicken broth and milk; cook until thickened.
    Add peas and seasoning; set aside.
    Cook carrots in 1 cup water for 5 minutes.
    Drain and add with chicken to sauce. Spoon into a 12 x 9-inch baking dish.
    Top with \"Corn Bread Crust\" (recipe in book).
