Skillet Spanish Rice(With Meat, Optional) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. oil
    1 medium onion, thin sliced
    1/2 medium green pepper, chopped
    1 c. regular rice, uncooked (not instant rice)
    1/2 lb. ground meat
    2 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
    1 3/4 c. hot water
    1 tsp. prepared mustard (optional)
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    2 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Heat oil in skillet.
    Add onion, green pepper, rice and beef. Stir over
    high
    heat until lightly browned.
    Add sauce and remaining ingredients.
    Mix
    well.
    Bring
    quickly
    to
    a boil. Heat to simmer for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Makes 4 servings. Meat may be omitted.
    Two cups grated cheese may be added just before serving.
