Crock-Pot Ribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 lb. country style ribs
    1/2 bottle barbecue sauce
    1/2 c. water
    1 medium onion, sliced
    garlic powder to taste
Preparation
    Season ribs and broil for 10 minutes to remove excess fat. Place ribs in crock-pot and cover with sauce.
    Pour water over top.
    Place onion slices on top.
    Cook on low setting for 8 to 10 hours.
