1-2-3 Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Lipton onion soup (dry)
    1 can cream of mushroom soup (Campbell's)
    3 lb. lean stew meat or cubed round steak, cut into small pieces
    pepper and salt to taste
Preparation
    Brown meat in skillet until very dark brown.
    Cover with soups and 1 1/2 cups water.
    Cook over very low heat for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
    Serve over cooked rice or mashed potatoes.
    This is very good served with garlic bread and salad.
