Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 (8-inch) pie shell (unbaked)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 c. milk
    4 eggs
Preparation
    Mix sugar and eggs.
    Add a dash of salt and vanilla.
    Scald milk and add to egg mixture slowly.
    Pour in pie shell.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
