Irish Soda Bread I - cooking recipe

Ingredients

6 c. flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
3 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 box raisins
4 Tbsp. butter

Preparation

Sift dry ingredients and add butter.
Mix like pie dough with fingers.
Add raisins.
Add buttermilk and eggs to make dough. Bake in 2 greased loaf pans or pie pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Brush with butter straight from oven.
