Cherry Hot-Cold Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. milk
    1 c. pie cherries
    3/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar,
    salt
    and baking powder.
    Add milk. Pour batter into an 8 x 12-inch pan.
    Mix cherries and 3/4 cup sugar, pour over batter.
    Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
