Pecan Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. chopped pecans
2 large eggs or 3 small eggs
1 c. plus 1 Tbsp. milk
Preparation

Sift the dry ingredients into a large bowl and then add the pecans (freshly shelled, if possible).
In another bowl, vigorously beat the eggs and when they're thick and frothy, add the milk. Stir the beaten egg mixture into the dry ingredients.
Pour the batter into a well-greased 8 x 4-inch wax pan or a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish and bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour. Remove from the pan and cool on a wire rack.
