15 Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. 15 beans
    1 large onion
    1 pkg. beef sausage
    1 garlic clove
    1 can stewed tomatoes
Preparation
    Place beans in a pan or kettle.
    Cover with water and 2 tablespoons of salt.
    Soak overnight.
    In the morning, drain.
    Add 2 quarts of water.
    Bring to a boil and simmer slowly for 2 hours. In a skillet, saute onion and clove of garlic with beef sausage. Add 1 small can stewed tomatoes and flavoring content.
    Simmer for 5 minutes, then add to bean pot.
    Simmer an additional hour.
