Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. pumpkin
grated orange rind
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. walnuts
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
pinch of ground cloves
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Sift together flours, salt and soda.
Cream butter.
Add sugar and beat in egg until smooth and creamy.
Mix in dry ingredients, then add pumpkin and orange rind.
Fold in buttermilk, nuts and spices. Bake for 1 hour.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
